I would like to add some useful links at the top of the main forum page. Please suggest some links that you might like to see on the main forum page that you use often.

Freecycle.org would be a great link. The Lake Cities currently has 2 Freecycle.org groups.

Our goal is focused on taking UNWANTED USEABLE ITEMS and sharing them with OTHERS WHO CAN USE them. At the same time keeping millions of tons of trash from filling up the landfills. It saves the environment while helping others. It also gives us the opportunity to ask for items that we can use. No item is too big or too small; but since this is Freecycle, ALL items must be 100% FREE (that's right). FREE NO EXCEPTIONS! There is NO trading OR Money involved PERIOD. Have a bed, sofa, or a door? Garage sale didn't go so well? Spring Cleaning? Moving? Don't toss those items- POST THEM!! Or, maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself? Been thinking about buying something? Check here first!! Freecycle(TM) is an excellent source for second hand appliances, furniture, clothes, toys...and more.

We are local groups dedicated to keeping things out of landfills by sharing with our community.

It is an interactive map. Post info about your favorite businesses, restaurants, schools and what have you. The controls are pretty intuitive - just use the arrows to move around; slide the bar to zoom.
